Tom Brush – Nov 1, 1955 to April 7, 2006
Tom Brush was born in Hamilton Ontario in 1955 but, came with his parents to Salmon Arm in 1963.
Tom was a good student and an engaging personality who stayed in the Shuswap following graduation; he soon became, and was for many years, sales manager at Salmon Arm Motors, the GM dealership. This position reflected his lifelong passion for things automotive and mechanical.
Tom was an all-around sportsman; an avid golfer and skier.
The Tom Brush Memorial Scholarship Fund was established with the Shuswap Community Foundation by family and friends. The scholarship continues to fund awards to grade 12 students pursuing mechanical trades.
