Income available for distribution from the Fund, as determined by the directors of the Foundation, will be disbursed annually, at the discretion of the directors of the Foundation, as follows.
- 25% of the income available for distribution from the Fund will be distributed annually to the Shuswap Trail Alliance or its successor to assist in the construction and/or maintenance of mountain bike trails in the Shuswap/Sicamous/Revelstoke areas of British Columbia. The directors of the Foundation may, in the event the Shuswap Trail Alliance ceases to operate or is wound up, in consultation with the Immediate Family Members, disburse the said income to support a charitable organization or organizations operating in the Shuswap area with a purpose or purposes similar to those of the Shuswap Trail Alliance, and
- 75% of the income available for distribution from the Fund will be distributed annually to the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides or any successor, (collectively The ACMG) for the annual funding of “The Mark Corbett Scholarship”. The purpose of the Mark Corbett Scholarship is to make one or more grants to a student in the ACMG Ski Guiding Program to assist that student in achieving their ski guide certification including costs of course fees, training and other expenses. Criteria for the award of the Mark Corbett Scholarship will be determined by the ACMG in consultation with The Immediate Family Members.
