Our Community Effort
Help us rebuild the Eric Christmas Memorial Boardwalk and Wildlife Viewing Platform.
The Salmon Arm Bay Nature Enhancement Society (SABNES) is embarking on an exciting project to rebuild a new boardwalk and wildlife viewing platform. This is more than just a structure; it’s an opportunity to preserve access to one of the few remaining urban wetlands where 282 bird species thrive, including the remarkable courtship displays of the Western Grebes.
Your Support Matters
Since 1986, SABNES has been dedicated to protecting and enhancing the natural habitats of Salmon Arm Bay.
This project is a community initiative managed by SABNES volunteers who have dedicated over 36 years to enhancing this natural treasure. It serves as a gateway for locals, birdwatchers, photographers, and nature lovers to experience the beauty and fragility of the Salmon Arm Bay ecosystem. Your contribution will help protect this vital part of Salmon Arm’s heritage and ensure that future generations can enjoy its beauty.
