Since 1986 the Shuswap Hospital Foundation has been transforming generosity into better health care. As a registered charitable society, the Foundation has worked alongside our community to ensure that residents and visitors alike have access to the best possible care, close to home.
Today, the Foundation supports Shuswap Lake General Hospital and area health care facilities serving more than 36,000 residents throughout the region—from Sicamous to Sorrento. As our population continues to grow, and with thousands of additional visitors travelling through the region each year via the Trans-Canada Highway, the demand for high-quality health care services and advanced medical equipment continues to increase.
