Shuswap Community Foundation Sponsorship Grant is designed to strengthen communities in the Shuswap by providing financial support to valued festivals and events.
Through strategic sponsorship opportunities, the Foundation partners with organizations that reflect shared values of connection, generosity, and community impact. By increasing visibility and engagement, the program helps introduce more residents, donors, and community leaders to the Foundation’s mission—connecting people who care with causes that matter and creating lasting benefits for generations to come.

Sponsorships
up to $5,000
The Shuswap Community Foundation Sponsorship Program helps raise awareness of the Foundation’s impact across the region by supporting local initiatives, events, and community connections. Through sponsorship, the Foundation builds visibility, inspires generosity, and connects more people to opportunities that strengthen the Shuswap for generations to come.
Sponsorship Grant Criteria:
The Event/Festival must be taking place in the Shuswap.
The Foundation will not support events or festivals of a partisan, religious or political nature.
The Foundation will not fund events or festivals already underway.
Granted funds may not be used to retire debt.
National organizations may apply if they have a Shuswap chapter, which needs to be clearly stated in the application. Events need to be carried out entirely in the Shuswap, otherwise national organizations are not eligible.
An Event Evaluation Report must be submitted to the Foundation prior to a new Grant or Sponsorship Application.

If you have a Sponsorship Package available, please upload it with your application.
Eligible projects for Sponsorship Grants include music festivals, parades, concert series, and art and culture shows.

Applications are accepted online through our Grants Portal (login or create an account and look for “Sponsorships”).
Applications that meet our criteria and are approved will be notified within 6 weeks.
