CELEBRATING COMMUNITY SERVICE & IMPACT
Help Shuswap Community Foundation recognize the dedicated volunteers who are making a difference in our region! SCF will be celebrating two incredible volunteers at our annual community event, Heart of the Shuswap Mixer, on September 18th.

AWARDS CATEGORIES
We are now accepting nominations for two volunteer awards:
Heart of the Shuswap Youth Volunteer Award (Ages 13 – 25) — Sponsored by Mawer Investment Management Ltd.
Heart of the Shuswap Adult Volunteer Award (Age 26+) — Sponsored by Bannister GM Salmon Arm
NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN NOW
Nominations close at 4 PM on Friday, August 14, 2026.
To nominate a volunteer who has gone above and beyond to make an impact in our communities, please complete our Volunteer Awards Nomination Form.
Use the Nomination Form to help our selection committees understand why this nominee is particularly deserving of recognition. You may wish to mention which organization(s) they support, how long they have been volunteering, and how they made an impact through their support of community initiatives. Tell us how they have exhibited leadership through their volunteer work, or how they have empowered others to thrive in leadership roles.
In addition to completing the Nomination Form, nominators are also requested to submit two letters of support from individuals or organizations other than the nominator who are not family members of the nominee. The letters can be emailed to Jo at info@shuswapfoundation.ca and must be received by our nomination deadline of 4 PM on August 14, 2026.
