A Legacy of Love, Family and Community
Born in Chase, British Columbia, to Jacob and Susan Luoma, Alli Miriam Graham (née Luoma) lived a life rooted in family, community, and caring for others. Over the course of a remarkable century, she touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those around her.
Alli was the heart of a large and growing family whose branches now extend across multiple generations. As a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, she created a legacy built on love, resilience, and strong family values. Her home was a gathering place where family and friends were welcomed with warmth, laughter, and exceptional hospitality.
Known for her ever-present smile, quick wit, and caring nature, Alli had a unique ability to make people feel valued and appreciated. She formed lifelong friendships throughout her hundred years and leaves behind a legacy of compassion that continues to inspire those who knew her.
A passionate gardener, Alli found joy in nurturing beauty and growth. She also held a special affection for animals and cared deeply for their well-being throughout her life. Her appreciation for nature, community, and simple acts of kindness reflected the values she carried every day.
The Alli Miriam Graham Memorial Fund was established to honour and celebrate Alli’s extraordinary life and the values she embodied. Through this fund, her legacy of generosity and community spirit will continue to make a meaningful difference for future generations.
Annual grants from the fund will support charitable initiatives within the Shuswap region, helping strengthen the community that Alli called home for so many years. In this way, her memory lives on—not only through her family and friends, but through lasting contributions that enrich the lives of others.
The fund stands as a tribute to a woman whose century of life was defined by love, service, and a deep commitment to the people and community she cherished.
