Jennifer Lynn Phillips – 1970 to 1998
Jennifer Phillips loved children. She had just completed a PhD (awarded posthumously) in developmental psychology when she died in a tragic car accident in Nova Scotia, where she was doing an internship.
A fund in Jennifer’s memory was set up, using her savings and memorial contributions from friends and family, to support projects to improve quality of life for infants and children in our area.
Jennifer’s is a substantial fund, open to further contributions, which has provided safe car seats for infants and nutritional fresh food for babies in poor families.
Memorial funds have actually been created within the Jennifer Phillips fund, as people pay tribute to other friends and relatives whose first concern is with the welfare of babies.
