Shuswap Community Foundation is proud to announce that the Shuswap Cardiac Society has been awarded a grant from the Canadian Medical Association, MD Financial Management Inc. and Scotiabank through the Health Care Unburdened Grant program. This grant will support initiatives aimed at reducing administrative burdens for healthcare providers, allowing for more patient-focused care.
Roger Parenteau, Executive Director of the Shuswap Community Foundation, stated, “This grant is a significant step towards enhancing healthcare delivery in our community by minimizing the administrative tasks that take valuable time away from patient care. We are grateful for this opportunity to make a meaningful impact.”
The Shuswap Cardiac Society plans to use the funds to implement new administrative technologies and streamline processes, thus ensuring that healthcare professionals can dedicate more time to patient care. This initiative aligns with the foundation’s mission to improve community health outcomes and support local healthcare providers.
The Health Care Unburdened Grant program aims to alleviate the growing administrative workload faced by healthcare professionals across Canada. By addressing these burdens, the program seeks to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services, benefitting both providers and patients.
