The McGuire Lake Memorial Walkway is a lasting way to remember loved ones, honor friends, say thank you and celebrate life. Just a short stroll from the core of Downtown Salmon Arm, McGuire Lake Park is an oasis for all to enjoy its natural beauty. Dotted with benches and picnic tables this is a favourite location to enjoy a picnic or family gathering.
The Shuswap Lifeboat Society (SLS) supports the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue Shuswap Station 106 (RCMSAR), whose well-trained and dedicated volunteers contribute an average total of 4800 hours of time annually to save lives on the water. RCMSAR crews conduct anywhere from 30 to 50 missions per year rendering assistance and medical aid.
