We’ve launched the Shuswap Rural Fund, a charitable fund stream within the Shuswap Community Foundation, created specifically to support rural community organizations in based in rural Shuswap communities.
Rural communities are strong, but they’re also stretched: distance, limited services, transportation challenges, and a small number of volunteers carrying a big load. Many rural residents also want a simple, trusted way to give locally—through donations, memorial gifts, or estate planning—knowing their contribution stays focused on rural priorities.
That’s what the Shuswap Rural Fund is for. It provides long-term, accountable stewardship through the Foundation’s existing governance, audited financial management, and transparent grant-making process.
