In 2019 Shuswap Community Foundation, and our Youth Philanthropy Advisory Committee (YPAC) members, took part in the RBC Future Launch Community Challenge.
The purpose of the Challenge is to help shift power into the hands of youth by supporting youth-led initiatives that address urgent local priorities such as food security, health, and the
environment, across the country. In joining the challenge, Shuswap Community Foundation granted $30,000 to youth for local bold and inspiring youth-led initiatives.
An important component of the Challenge is for our YPAC members to host ‘Vital Conversations’ that bring together youth and community members to talk about local priorities.
To accomplish this, we ask that you take a short few minutes to fill out a survey that will help inform the committee’s work. The brief (only 10 questions) survey can be accessed here. Fill it out and be entered into a draw for some great prizes. Including AirPods and Gift vouchers for great local businesses.
