Apply for a Grant

How to Apply

In order to apply “manually” (ie. Pen and paper application) you must create a profile for SCF’s records. You can create your profile here. Once created, you will then have access to our downloadable application package.

By creating this profile, you will help us to know a little more about you and your group which will help our staff serve you better.

Step 1. Create a Profile on the SCF website.

Step 2. Download a copy of our Grant Seeker Guidelines and Letter of Intent template.

Step 3. Read the Guidelines and create your Letter of Intent and submit

Step 4. Discuss your project with Foundation staff.

Step 5. Once you have received feedback from SCF staff, continue process by filling out our Grant Application, Grant Application Budget Sheets and attach any necessary supporting documents (Your organizations previous years financial statements, Contractor quotes, pictures that support your application, etc.

Step 6. Submit your application.

Step 7. Await the results (Spring grants cycle: notification of award will be sent second week of March, fall grants cycle: First week of August).

Step 8. Complete the project evaluation form and upload pictures of your completed project (share your success story).
